Rose "Our Lady of Guadalupe (tm)"

Just a word about Our Lady of GuadalupeTM: of all the roses I've had in 7 years of rose gardening (I've had some 30 different roses), this one is unsurpassed—I just bought three more from Jackson & Perkins. It is virtually disease-free, beautifully shaped both as the bush and as a cut rose, it blooms abundantly from May onwards, last year until the end of November!! It has been blessed by the Archbishop of Los Angeles and money from the proceeds goes to charity (5% of net sales supports the Hispanic College Fund). If you're a first-time rose grower wondering which rose to start with, get this one: there is no downside to this rose.

Creativity Quotes

"The creation of something new is not accomplished by the intellect but by the play instinct acting from inner necessity. The creative mind plays with the objects it loves."
